Doggy Bed Changing Lives

On Thursday, the team at RAFT Charity (who benefit from the sales of the new Savoir tartan dog bed) invited a number of influential journalists and bloggers to take part in their Doggy Bed Changing Lives social media campaign.

The campaign kicked off at Holland & Holland Bruton Street, where the exclusively designed Savoir Beds Dog Bed, featuring stunning tartan made by the Grassmarket Community Project in Edinburgh, is on display for Christmas.

Special pooches of top journalists and blogger contacts of RAFT tried out the dog bed and posted lots of fabulous the pictures online, using the hashtag #DoggyBedChangingLives.

Lovely Wolfy

Journalist, Kate Spicer, came to the event with her Lurcher dog, Wolfy, who recently achieved great celebrity when he went missing in London for 9 days over Halloween. After a huge search involving 100s of thousands of retweets via social media she found him! Kate was the perfect guest at the event, and as you can see, Wolfy loved the bed (even if it was a little small for him!)

Little Baxter
We were also happy to hear that celebrity photographer and all round dog-fan,  Gerrard Gethings came to show his support, along with his lovely little dog Baxter!

All in all the campaign went down a storm - the gang at RAFT did a really great job and we think all the canine guests looked fabulous on the tartan Savoir bed!

  1. Wolfy and I felt sooooo important, especially him being a poachers dog in a smart shooting shop for posh gundogs

  3. The serpent, the king, the tiger, the stinging wasp, the small child, the dog owned by other people, and the fool: these seven ought not to be awakened from sleep.
