In the video, Sammy advises you on how to best sleep on your back, side and front, to avoid stiff necks and even wrinkles!
In her book, ‘The Good Sleep Guide’, Sammy also discusses how sleepers can actually go about controlling their position. While you may think that it’s impossible to control or change the position you sleep in since you aren’t fully aware of what you are doing while asleep, it is possible and can actually make a huge difference. Sammy advises that when you go to sleep, or when you wake up in the night, if you make a conscious decision to return your body to a comfortable position, it will eventually become habitual.
If you’re used to sleeping in a certain way, but your position is not maximising your chances of a good night’s sleep, it’s time to come out of your comfort zone and try something different – as Sammy demonstrates in this video!
